Le Verdi Note dell’Antoniano of Bologna

Le Verdi Note (“the green notes”) is a choir founded within Antoniano, in Bologna, Italy, thanks to Mariele Ventre, the well known founder and conductor of the children choir Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano (“little choir of Antoniano“), and one of the founders of the iconic italian TV show Show Zecchino d’Oro.

Currently, consists of 22 members, between 15 and 30, this choir has been active since 1989 to give the children of the Piccolo Coro the chance to keep on singing.

Fabiola Ricci is engaged as choral and stage director since 2016 thanks to her long experience in Musical Theatre as a Performer and Director of “Accademia del Musical di Castrocaro” (Castrocaro Musical Academy). The Artistic Direction and the project management are in charge to Alessio Zini and Sara Casali, authors and producers of pop music for youngs and former students of Mariele Ventre.

Antoniano is one of the major producers of children’s music in the world, with millions of discs sold, and is actively involved in many solidarity and charity events throughout Italy and all over the world. The most famous tv show produced by Antoniano, since when all started in 1961, is “Zecchino d’Oro”, the Italian children contest, recognized as the “Sanremo Festival” of the children.

“Le Verdi Note” has their own discography and since 1989 participates in Antoniano tv shows, such as “Zecchino d’Oro”, “Festa della Mamma”, “Lo Zecchino di Natale”, generally on Raiuno (RAI), the first TV channel of the Country.

Le Verdi Note during “L’attesa”, a TV show produced by Antoniano di Bologna

In its long experience, the choir have worked with important artists, such as The Swingles, Cristina D’Avena, Orchestra Senzaspine, Biagio Antonacci, Nomadi and many others.

In 2016 the choir appears in the national music chart (FIMI/GFK) in the third place with “Il segreto (per Mariele)” sang by Cristina D’Avena, italian TV themes star.

On December 8, 2017, Antoniano was received in audience by the Italian President of Republic Sergio Mattarella who recognized the cultural value of Zecchino d’Oro and the social, cultural and charity activities carried out by the Antoniano in the history of Italy. Le Verdi Note of the Antoniano were present at the meeting represented by their managers Sara Casali and Alessio Zini, together with Giampaolo Cavalli, Antoniano’s Director, and Carlo Conti, Artistic Director of Zecchino d’Oro.
